From unpleasant looking things, beauty often emerges… Caviar is the eggs of the sturgeon, a fish only surpassed in looks by the similarly ugly catfish. The eggs have been brined or salted and allowed to mature. Its incessant farming caused Russia to put a nine-year self-imposed ban on wild sturgeon caviar trade. The rarest and most expensive in fact comes from the big beluga sturgeon in the Caspian Sea.

A blue-eyed Chinese boy born with cat-like night vision may offer clues to the future of human evolution.
When Nong Yongsui was two-months-old his father, Nong Shihua, was told by doctors not to worry about his son’s unique blue eyes and that his eyes would be fine when he grew up; now, years later, Yongsui’s father, teacher and doctors are convinced the young boy’s eyes have given him a special ability - night vision.
“In the dark Nong’s eyes would emit a kind of blue-green light when shone upon by a flash light - his eyes were just like cat eyes.”

Hacked Emails Reveal Chemical Weapons Plot
The United States and Qatar have been accused of plotting to plant chemical weapons in Syria, which could then be ‘found’ as a pretext for direct US intervention to topple the government of Bashar al Assad. The accusations emerged after hackers released files purporting to show an email conversation between senior executives at the British based defence company Britam Defence. In one email the firm’s Business Development Director David Goulding sends a message to company founder Philip Doughty:
